Regulations Regarding Foreign Students Discontinue of Studies |
In the following situations a student may be given permission to discontinue their studies.
1. The student who directly applies by his/her self to withdraw from school;
2. The leave of absence period has expired, and no efforts to return to school within the stipulated period of time have been made by the student;
3. The leave of absence period is over, but the student fails to pass the health examination after returning to school.
4. Students who are diagnosed with a mental illness, epilepsy, leprosy or similar illness and therefore cannot continue their studies;
5. A serious accident has left the student crippled and unable to normally conduct his/her studies;
6. Students who seriously breach the school’s code of conduct;
7. Students who infringe on Chinese laws and are penalized by the judicial authorities with detention or other similar punishment;
8. Students who arbitrarily abandon their studies without completing any of the necessary procedures involved in discontinuing of studies process;
9. Students who do not pay their tuition and comprehensive insurance;
10. Students who miss more than 50 hours of class time in one semester;
11. Students who drop out and shall not be applied for reinstatement in principle. |
