Eight students who study the major Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages in literature faculty of JXNU have been to Jangxi Memorial Hall of Revolutionary Martyrs to visit and learn in the afternoon of September 8th. These students have studied Chinese and Chinese culture in their local Confucius Institute before coming to China.
Through the Chinese-oriented and English-assisted explanation of docent, they all learned the history of China, especially the history of Revolution period in Nanchang. Listened stories of heroes who sacrificed for their country, they communicated with docent and teacher asking questions to satisfy their desire for knowledge of history in this period. After the visit ending, student from Thailand Xu Duoxi expressed that she learned much knowledge of Chinese history and impressed deeply by these heroes who would rather die than surrender. Most importantly,she was very proud of studying in hero-city Nanchang.
