On November 16, 70 outstanding international student representatives from 14 countries at our university traveled to Zhelin Town, Yongxiu County, to take part in a Rural Revitalization themed inspection and practice activity, getting a firsthand experience of the development vitality and unique charm of modern Chinese villages.

At the Rural Operation Center in Zhelin Town, through historical photos, physical exhibits, promotional videos, and explanations, the students learned about the village's cultural heritage, its transformation over time, and the revitalization path to achieving a win-win situation of green development and prosperity. Gao Xing, a student from Ethiopia, exclaimed with admiration, The development and protection of the land here are truly remarkable. Yijiahe Village has truly achieved a simultaneous leap in 'going green' and 'getting rich,' as well as a synchronous improvement in ecology and economy.

The orange orchards were filled with a rich fragrance, and the branches were heavy with fruit. The students stepped into the citrus orchards and turned into pickers. While picking oranges with their own hands, they also learned skills to distinguish the ripeness of the fruits. The site was bustling with tourists. Everyone carried bags full of oranges, their faces beaming with smiles. Amidst the laughter and joy, the students truly felt the vitality of the new rural economic model that combines experience and sales. Ruan Ling, a student from Vietnam, gave a thumbs-up and said, Here, characteristic agriculture and rural tourism are perfectly integrated. Tourists can not only appreciate the ecological beauty but also enjoy the fun of picking. The countryside is embarking on a path of high-quality development by leveraging its own resource advantages!

The inspection activity came to a successful conclusion amid the joy of a bountiful harvest. The international students expressed that this trip had given them a more three-dimensional and vivid understanding of China's rural revitalization and a deeper comprehension of the specific practices of Chinese path to modernization.
