On the afternoon of September 28, the 2025 International Freshmen Orientation at our university was held in the conference room on the third floor of the School of Intercultural Studies. A total of 92 freshmen from 22 countries and regions gathered together to embark on a new journey of studying in China.

At the meeting, Rao Wenhua, Dean of the School of Intercultural Studies, extended a warm welcome to the freshmen and vividly introduced the geographical features and cultural characteristics of Jiangxi. He encouraged the students to actively adapt to the new environment with an open and inclusive attitude and strive to become innovators and builders who connect the world and drive the future.

Li Haijun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, focused on interpreting laws and regulations such as the Regulations on the Administration of Entry and Exit of Foreigners and the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Regulations on the Administration of Religious Activities of Foreigners, as well as school rules and regulations. He urged the students to firmly establish a legal awareness, pay attention to personal and property safety, and jointly maintain a harmonious campus.
Subsequently, a teacher from the International Student Management Office provided detailed orientation guidance to the freshmen around three themes: Getting to Know the University, Studying at the University, and Life at the University, helping the freshmen integrate into campus life more quickly.

The meeting was informative and received enthusiastic responses from the audience. Kong Junhui, a 2025 freshman from Madagascar, said, Through this orientation, I have gained a clearer understanding of Chinese laws, regulations, and school rules, and I am full of anticipation and confidence for my future study and life.
It is reported that to help international freshmen better integrate into campus life, the School of Intercultural Studies will organize a series of orientation activities such as campus tours and cultural experiences in the following days, providing continuous support for the smooth transition and in-depth integration of international freshmen.
