International Students Receive Anti-Drug Education

On the afternoon of November 7, the Anti-Drug Squad of Nanchang High-tech Public Security Sub-bureau, in collaboration with the Exit-Entry Administration Detachment of Nanchang Public Security Bureau, conducted anti-drug education for 86 international students from 24 countries at our university.

At the event, the students sequentially visited an anti-drug themed photo exhibition, watched cautionary educational short films, and attentively listened to professional explanations of China's anti-drug history and drug prevention knowledge. The live interactive equipment integrating 3D, VR, AI, and sound-light-electric technologies became a major highlight, particularly the VR experience zone that simulated the harmful effects of drugs, which attracted numerous students to line up and participate. Through immersive interactions, everyone profoundly felt the severe harm that drugs inflict on individuals, families, and society.

Seeing real cases of families being torn apart by drugs was truly shocking, said Wang Jies from Myanmar. I will share the knowledge I've learned with more people so that together we can safeguard a drug-free and healthy life. Li Xue, a Mexican student, remarked with emotion, In my country, drug control is relatively lenient. This event has made me truly appreciate China's determination and effectiveness in maintaining social security and stability through strict legislation and robust law enforcement.

At the end of the event, all international students took a solemn oath, pledging to resolutely resist drugs and jointly build a drug-free campus. This publicity and education initiative not only enhanced the students' awareness of drug prevention but also further fostered a positive campus atmosphere that advocates health and keeps away from drugs.
