The Exit-Entry Administration Detachment Public Security Bureau Conducts "On-site Instruction" Activity

On the afternoon of November 7, Yang Shaohua, Chief of the Exit-Entry Administration Detachment of Nanchang Public Security Bureau, and his team visited our university to carry out an on-site instruction activity.

During the symposium, Rao Wenhua, Dean of the School of Intercultural Studies, introduced the enrollment scale and daily management measures for international students at our university to the detachment. Chief Yang Shaohua expressed approval of the college's management of international students and suggested further optimizing the education and management of international students in light of the actual public security situation around the campus. He stated that the Exit-Entry Administration Detachment of Nanchang Public Security Bureau would continue to provide resource support to help enhance the quality and efficiency of the university's foreign-related affairs.

Subsequently, two police officers from the detachment delivered a special lecture on legal and safety education to all 2025-grade international students at our university. Officer Chen Jing provided a detailed explanation of visa types, passport and visa application procedures, and the required materials, helping new students understand the process at a glance and complete it in one go. Officer Lou Jie systematically interpreted laws and regulations such as the Exit and Entry Administration Law and the Regulations on the Administration of Religious Activities of Foreigners, and used real cases involving illegal residence and illegal employment to explain the law and guide students to establish the concept that compliance with the law equals safety.

This on-site instruction activity represents a concrete measure taken by the Exit-Entry Administration Detachment of Nanchang Public Security Bureau to deepen the reform of streamlining administration, delegating powers, and improving services and proactively serve universities. It also constitutes an important part of the orientation education for new international students at our university. The university will continue to strengthen collaboration and coordination with the exit-entry administration authorities to continuously improve the quality of education and management efficiency for international students in China.
