In memory of Confucius 2568 years birthday, our school, Jiang Xi Normal University, organized 76 Confucius Institute Scholarship students from 8 countries such as Korea, Mongolia, Ethiopia and Sudan to the Dachengdian of the Temple of Confucius at Shengjin Pagoda in Nanchang for celebrating ancient philosophers on September 28, and this activity made students experience a conversation with ancient philosophers travelling through time and space.

    In Dachengdian, students looked up to the statues of Confucius and his disciples, Yanhui and Tan Taimieming, had a glimpse of ancient philosopher’s education thought going “teaches all comers without discrimination”. After this, following the steps of the commentator, students listened stories about Confucius and his disciples,which were painted in the wall painting, read The Analects of Confucius, as well as perceived the life. Outside the temple, students were astonished by eight engraved dragon pillars and they praised them as skilled works. As some visitors were lightening incenses to celebrate those ancient philosophers, our students joined them, talked with citizens to learn manners of celebrating Confucius and explore the development of Chinese and foreign cultures.
