On September 28th, the 2024 International Youth Ancient Village Run invitational event was held in Liukeng Ancient Village scenic area in Lean County. After intense competitions, our university's international student team, named the Mada Zebu Team, won the championship of this invitational event as well as the Best Creativity Award. They were also awarded the title of Honorary Villagers of Liukeng, entitling them to lifetime free entry and accommodation in the Liukeng scenic area.

It is reported that this International Youth Ancient Village Run invitational event was hosted by the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government. Through the medium of the ancient village run in Jiangxi, participating young international students were able to experience Chinese culture and feel the charm of traditional Chinese culture by engaging in activities such as learning opera singing (Peony Pavilion), ink calligraphy, scholar patrols, folklore experiences, and fun interactions. This event provided an opportunity for universities to showcase the talents of their international students on the village run stage and to excel and shine in international cultural exchanges. At the same time, through the combination of sports and culture, it promoted Sino-foreign humanities exchanges and demonstrated the charm of traditional Chinese culture. The event attracted a total of more than 180 contestants from 17 teams composed of Chinese and foreign youth from universities within Jiangxi Province, as well as a team from Liukeng Ancient Village.
