On October 11, a delegation led by Xiong Zhenxian, Deputy Director of the Exit and Entry Administration Detachment of the Nanchang Municipal Public Security Bureau, conducted an on-site education event by presenting a legal and safety education lecture to all international students at our university.

      The lecture introduced the visa application process and precautions for international students in China, and elaborated on regulations concerning the entry and exit management of foreigners, internship and employment opportunities for international students in China, and regulations on religious activities for foreigners. It also vividly explained the dangers of illegal residence and unlicensed employment through real-life case studies. The police officers also introduced common methods of telecom fraud and reminded international students to strengthen their self-protection awareness.

       After the lecture, Xiong Zhenxian hosted a forum on the management of international students in China, with the participation of administrators from Nanchang University and our university. Participants engaged in face-to-face discussions and exchanges with the police officers from the Exit and Entry Administration Detachment of the Nanchang Municipal Public Security Bureau on topics such as international student recruitment, visa processing, and campus service management.

This on-site education event strengthened the collaboration between the exit and entry administration and universities that recruit international students, helping relevant institutions improve the quality of education and management for international students and promoting the high-quality development of international education.
