On December 3rd, the Red Art Fire Publicity group of the College of Fine Arts held an activity with the theme of Splendid China,Connecting Hearts through Arts to 30 international students of our school.

Divided into three parts, the activity through the theme lecture, paper cutting, rubbing and other forms , made the international students feel the profound heritage and fun of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.

       In the process of Splendid China in the Story section, the speaker showcased to us,through detailed data and fascinating videos, the tremendous changes China has undergone and the underlying Chinese spirit within these transformations since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 75 years ago; in the Splendid China in the Paper Cutting section, the international students listened carefully, personally tried it, and in the end,red paper flew about as they skillfully created beautiful paper-cutting flowers; in the Splendid China in the rubbing section, the international students and students from College of Fine Arts collaborated, going through the steps of pushing, pressing and stamping to produce one exquisite print after another.
